The RM occurrence is situated on the eastern flank of the Coast Plutonic Complex. The showing is underlain by undivided Devonian to Permian sedimentary rock of the Stikine Assemblage. The stratigraphy is intruded by Early Jurassic granodiorite and monzodiorite to gabbro of the Texas Creek Plutonic Suite and granite of the Eocene Major Hart Pluton. No local geology is available for this showing but Annual Reports (1968 to 1970) indicate that copper mineralization was found. Assessment Report 2057, reports on a 29 kilometre airborne electromagnetic and magnetic survey flown over the RM property in 1969 by Honda Mining Co. Ltd. The report states that an irregular EM anomaly was found to occur over the area of a known shear zone location that displayed minor staining of limonite and malachite.
